Your Responsibilities
  • Prepare food according to standard recipes and menu cycles, following Uniworld and HACCP standards.
  • Ensure timely service and readiness for smooth operation with the team.
  • Organize daily work according to program schedules, events, and assignments.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the working area and perform scheduled cleaning duties.
  • Store culinary supplies and equipment according to procedures (e.g., FIFO, labelling, temperature control).
  • Minimize food waste and overproduction.
  • Monitor quality of external laundry services and report anomalies.
  • Apply the “up serve” approach to enhance guest experiences and support onboard revenue targets.
Specific Requirements
  • Handle culinary materials and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and care.
  • Report defective materials, equipment, or premises damage promptly.
  • Contribute to team meetings, briefings, and cross-department collaboration.
  • Comply with working-hour regulations and maintain accurate records.
  • Luxury culinary experience in four- or five-star hotels or onboard ships.
  • Assist in loading supplies, luggage distribution, and seasonal ship preparations.
  • Ability to work as part of a team while delivering high-quality guest service.
  • Actively participate in assigned learning activities, training sessions, and mandatory safety or emergency drills.
  • Contribute to ship preparation during end-of-season close-down and start-of-season set-up.
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
