THE OPPORTUNITY: EXPERIENCE MANAGER
As Experience Manager, you are at the heart of the onboard experience. Working alongside the Experience Manager, you help create an atmosphere that is engaging, elegant, and effortlessly organized. You bring energy, professionalism, and storytelling flair to every interaction, whether hosting a themed event, coordinating an excursion, or ensuring guests feel seen, supported, and inspired throughout their journey.
You’ll be both a Guest Experience Leader and a Cultural Connector, helping guests discover destinations through entertainment, stories, and genuine human connection.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Experience Director in planning and delivering onboard entertainment and enrichment programs.
- Host, emcee, and coordinate guest events such as trivia, game shows, theme nights, and sail-away parties.
- Assist with daily onboard communications, and scheduling.
- Provide operational and administrative support to the Experience Director and Cruise Operations team.
- Escort and guide guests during shore excursions, ensuring smooth logistics and exceptional experiences.
- Maintain visibility throughout the ship, building rapport with guests and anticipating their needs.
- Collaborate with local partners, performers, and suppliers to deliver authentic, high-quality experiences.
- Participate in safety drills and ensure all events uphold brand standards and safety procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Background in hospitality, travel, entertainment, or river cruising.
- Strong public speaking and hosting skills with a confident, engaging presence.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities; thrives under pressure.
- Familiarity with European destinations, culture, and history.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages (German, French, Italian) are a plus.
- Proficiency with AV systems and Microsoft Office preferred.
- Flexible and team-oriented, willing to work long hours, weekends, and holidays.
