Your Responsibilities
- Welcome guests on embarkation and each evening at the entrance to the Dining Room and Main Lounge.
- Enhance the guest experience through an “up-serve” approach, combining personalized service with support for onboard revenue targets.
- Unpack, pack, and fold guest clothing upon request, adhering to required standards.
- Handle pressing requests and deliver laundry to and from suites and the ship’s laundry.
- Perform shoe polishing service upon request.
- Assist Housekeeping with assigned butler duties in suites, including morning and evening service as well as on-call needs.
- Restock and clean minibars and replenish suite amenities in accordance with company manuals.
- Coordinate, plan, and deliver room service orders according to company guidelines, giving priority to in-suite guests.
- Ensure presence and support at special onboard events whenever possible.
- Announce and receive visitors when appropriate, relaying messages to the relevant parties.
- Unpack, pack, and fold guest clothing upon request, adhering to required standards.
- Receive, communicate, and serve all food and beverage orders placed from suites.
- Adhere to legal working hour limits per day, week, and month as defined by GRC, ensuring accurate recordkeeping.
- Actively participate in assigned learning activities, training sessions, and mandatory safety or emergency drills.
- Contribute to ship preparation during end-of-season close-down and start-of-season set-up.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
