Uniworld Boutique River Cruises owns and operates a fleet of thirteen intimate, boutique river cruise ships on the European waterways which cater exclusively to English-speaking clients. To support our Nautical Team we are looking for an experienced and dedicated professional in the role of:

Sailor River cruise ship
 
Your will
  • Stand by wheels when ships are on automatic pilot, and verify accuracy of courses
  • Handle lines to moor vessels to wharfs, to tie up vessels to other vessels, or to rig towing lines
  • Stand gangway watches to prevent unauthorized persons from boarding ships while they are in port
  • Operate, maintain, and repair ship equipment such as winches, cranes, derricks, deck
  • Load or unload materials from vessels,
  • As a team player - support your colleagues wherever help is needed
  • Visit the most spectacular destinations in Europe
You
  • Are an innovative, proactive and service orientated team player with strong problem-solving skills
  • Have experience in a similar role
  • Preferably have experience in river ship operation
  • Have ability to communicate and in English (must)
  • Like challenges and are not afraid of high expectations and standards
  • Are a citizen of the EU or Switzerland
