Your Responsibilities
  • Prepare and supervise all pastry, bakery, and dessert items according to Uniworld standards and HACCP hygiene procedures.
  • Ensure excellent product quality, presentation, and consistency in taste, texture, and temperature.
  • Organize daily work efficiently and maintain cleanliness and order in the pastry area.
  • Supervise and train assigned pastry staff, ensuring smooth and timely service.
  • Manage inventory, storage, and stock control, FIFO, labelling, temperature checks.
  • Minimize waste and report any issues or equipment defects to the Executive Chef.
  • Supporting Uniworld’s “Up Serve” guest experience philosophy.
Specific Requirements
  • Proven pastry experience in 4- or 5-star hotels and/or cruise ships.
  • Accredited Pastry Culinary School education.
  • Strong knowledge of modern pastry trends and techniques.
  • Excellent eye for elegant presentation and detail.
  • Excellent eye for elegant presentation and detail. Actively participate in assigned learning activities, training sessions, and mandatory safety or emergency drills.
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in English.
